Characterisation licks and sound effects on "When I Grow Up"; jazz solo on "Legolas"; fanfares and solo on "Captain of the Guard".
There is a muted trumpet solo verse and a descant on "Pole Star" for the second Three Weird Sisters CD, "Hair of the Frog".
On the song "Homecoming" for Andrea Dale's folk CD "Zen Cappucino", I played a descant. In addition, I used variations on the melodic theme to do a round with two trumpet tracks echoing the vocals.
Several tracks of Adam Selzer's recently released CD "Suburban Post-Modernist" have trumpet. Styles ranged from Chicago blues to operatic to folk and tango. I created the trumpet parts in most cases using traditional forms for the styles; "La Boehme" involved planned contrapuntal lines.
